The proof of concept addresses a persistent challenge for staffing firms managing hundreds of active listings across multiple disciplines and locations: standard keyword search returns broad, poorly ranked results that require candidates to do significant filtering work before finding a relevant match. By integrating retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), a technique that queries the current database of job data before passing results to a large language model, the North Peak assistant delivers a small set of highly targeted listings in response to conversational input, reducing friction for candidates and improving the quality of applicants entering the pipeline.
