The Challenge

Sir Speedy, along with its parent company, Franchise Services, needed to enhance its mobile presence to better serve customers and streamline operations. A key requirement was creating a systems architecture which could be easily adapted across Franchise Services' other brands, including PIP and Signal Graphics. The project demanded a very quick turnaround while maintaining exceptional quality and functionality.

The Solution

[iS2 Digital] reversed engineered Sir Speedy's existing mobile platform and proposed a comprehensive reworking of the entire system. The new design featured a modern mobile user interface and a modular systems architecture, facilitating seamless reapplication across other Franchise Services brands. Despite the accelerated timeline, the project was delivered on schedule and on budget, and was immediately deployed with great success.

Project Details

  • Enhanced mobile interface and architecture for improved user experience.
  • Updated graphic design to reflect a contemporary aesthetic.
  • Developed a modular design framework for easy adaptation across multiple brands.
  • Provided ColdFusion programming support to ensure robust backend functionality.
  • Achieved a rapid turnaround to meet tight project deadlines.

Manage Journals Admin Interface Page

HAPI at UCLA

The Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI) at UCLA relied on a system of Excel spreadsheets, printouts, legacy PERL scripts, and physical filing to manage their indexing operations. With no centralized digital workflow or validation, the system was inefficient, error-prone, and difficult to maintain. [iS2 Digital] was hired to reverse-engineer and replicate the system digitally, capturing business logic and streamlining internal workflows.

American Camp Association

The American Camp Association (ACA) envisioned a powerful yet user-friendly Find a Camp web application to serve multiple audiences, including Camp Directors, Association administrators, and, most importantly, parents searching for the right camp experience for their families. The platform had to be intuitive, responsive, on budget, and scalable to accommodate evolving user expectations and technological advancements.
